LispWorks 4.4 Released

A new version of LispWorks, the portable ANSI Common Lisp integrated development tool from Xanalys has been released today.

LispWorks 4.4 is now available for the Windows^®, Macintosh^® and Linux^® platforms.

• CAPI:COCOA-VIEW-PANE allows embedding QuickTime
• OpenSSL interface
• Cocoa Application Menu support
• Other CAPI enhancements
• Fast 32bit integer arithmetic
• Other language-level optimizations
• IDE improvements
• Graphics Ports supports more image types, plus image access API
• Low-level stream API
• Native PostgreSQL backend for Common SQL
• Many bug fixes.
  Not all features are available on every platform

Availability and Pricing

As of December 8th, 2004, LispWorks 4.4 for Windows, Macintosh and Linux is available as a Professional Edition at $1100 and Enterprise Edition at $3300. The Enterprise Edition includes Common SQL, LispWorks ORB and KnowledgeWorks. An Academic Edition with a site license is available. Support and Maintenance packages are also available.

LispWorks 4.4 for Unix platforms including Solaris^®, HP-UX^® and Tru64 UNIX^® will be available in Q1 2005.

LispWorks 4.4 Personal Edition will be available in Q1 2005
