Cocoa is an extensive Mac OS X API for access to a variety of operating system services, mostly through Objective-C classes and methods. These can be used via the Objective-C interface described in the preceding chapters, but there are a few foreign structure types and helper functions defined in the
cocoa
package that are useful.
