1.1 Introduction

This manual describes how to set up and use the License Server, a network license server for LispWorks and related LispWorks products. It covers:

• How to use the License Server daemon, hqn_lsd .
• How to use the License Server administration tool, hqn_lsa .

The License Server daemon ( hqn_lsd ) is designed to provide secure network licensing services for any number of application products.

The License Server can be used instead of the keyfile system.
